The start of each new school year brings with it such excitement and enthusiasm, and we look forward to filling the school’s halls and classrooms with your children and their love of learning. Through open communication, inclusivity, guidance and support, your children will feel empowered to achieve their highest social, emotional, and intellectual potential as an FPS Bee. It is my mission to foster a safe learning environment in which each student has a sense of pride and belonging, and access to equitable opportunities. Our family is looking forward to celebrating three graduations next June! As a parent myself, I understand that a strong connection between school and home is vital for the success of our children. In September, Joseph will be in eighth grade, Leah will be in fifth grade, and Kyle will be in Pre-K 4. In addition to being an educator, my husband, David, and I are proud parents of three children. I am thankful to have the opportunity to bring all that I have learned and experienced with me to Franklin Park’s collaborative school community. I enjoy guiding and supporting educational staff, while connecting with students and their families. As an administrator for the past six years, I have continued to expand my knowledge and love for teaching. My previous roles include being an elementary classroom teacher, Reading Supervisor, Vice Principal in Irvington, and most recently, the Vice Principal of Elizabeth Avenue School. The 2023-2024 school year marks my sixteenth year in education. I am humbled to have been selected as the educational leader of FPS, and look forward to getting to know you and our wonderful school community. I hope you and your child(ren) are as excited to start the 2023-2024 school year as I am! It is with great excitement that I introduce myself to you as the new Principal of Franklin Park School.
